Skipjack celebrates 1st March

Much to the dismay of the Welsh peoples, they share their day with the birth of Skipjack.

So. To the "Oil Barron of Humberside".

His Lardship.

Skipjack, oil of Ulay.

Happy Birthday greetings.

There is a new family crest devised which is to be lodged at the Heraldic centre for the vasselines of Great Britain. It is two crosssed chips in a vat of fat.

Have a great day.

Love n peace.

your pet, r o'leum.(Irish)

Hey Lard Boy, Many Happy Returns (tomorrow), my little oleaginous lovely! Remind me to serenade you with a kazoo rendition of the "Dallas" theme tune next time I see you.

Why, I for one would be more than happy to spend 57 of your fine British Pounds at Skip's Exotic Emporium of Unguents.

Kate-Don't start him off about dripping!(He has nasty habbits) He has enough on his plate as it is.And Sain (with fings above the letters) Don't start him off about HENS, I've seen him chasing chickens, it's not a pretty sight.

(Can you imagine it? Him chasing a hen and dripping at the same time!!)It beggars belief.

Eric, sorry for the missspelling of your name, I just had written an email to a real "Erik"...

But it is an "unlucky" thing to congratulate before the birthday...

And what is a "fred-cor blimey"?

Andy, do you mean I'm not real? Am I just a figment of my imagination? Oh, (sobs quietly in the background)woe unto the house of Lackford. It isn't unlucky for me, it might be unlucky for him being wished an advance happy birthday by a figment of his imagination.

An introduction to the English language. By; Afig Ment.

Fred is the common mis(s)spelling of Thread. Though Thread is often pronounced "Fred", by peoples of the southern home lands of Britain.(To which you are a frequent visitor I gather)

Cor blimey-roughly translated means "God blind me" sort of the equivalent of "Gott in Himmel".

That clears that up.

'Appy birthday me old mucker, me old mate skipjack-for the second time from your little figment.('ope it ain't too unlucky)

At least if I go by your nickname...

Please don't say too many nice things about him. It only makes him worse. It's bad enough he's management without greasing up to him.

Thank you Eric, Erik and all.

That's it, half way to 90, and a sneaking suspicion that they are the best 45 years. To use an Australian term, Ms Baggins, I feel absolutely ripper. Bit of light excercise, eat and drink in reasonable moderation, bingeing occasionally, good balance between work and play, and leaving rest til the grave, or at best til exhaustion, many and varied interests, but never playing golf, seems to be an agreeable way to shuffle through life for me.

Greg
