I have used it on a couple of sites and have to date have had practically no spam. There is a free one at http://www.wbwip.com/wbw/emailencoder.html with instructions. |

From: GUEST,Jon Interestingly, the only 2 email addresses that I have as more or less permanent fixtures on web sites are ones where I have never received spam. I'm not sure whether that means spammers avoid help@ addresses, whether some other poor sod gets the spam (in both cases more than one person has the help@ account) but that's not been reported to me or what. As for the website, as a believer in simplicty rather than flashy, (unless you really know what you are doing - many, including me don't and could only end up producing "visual messes")I like it overall. It is clear, I can get the info I would want easily from there and it has a nice bit of a personal element. The only thing that spoils it for me is the popups. They annoy me at the best of times but I find this one more excessive than most. |
