It's No. 20 in that link, (Liner Notes for Mudcat CD.) The song is also on Rick's cd This one's the dreamer. Thanks a bunch! kat & bet |

12 Mar 04 - 12:33 PM (#1134856) Subject: RE: Tab Req: Fielding's - When we gather once more From: Marion Kat, do you definitely need tablature? I think you'd probably have more luck if you asked for a chord progression, then filled in the picking pattern yourself. I think it's quite unlikely that you'll find anyone who has taken the time to work the tune out in tablature form, and then found a way to put it in a format sharable over the internet... but asking for the chords is a much more reasonable request. Besides, we all know how Fielding feels about tablature... Good luck, Marion |

Well, if nobody can give you chords after a few more refreshes, I'll get the chords for you next time I have access to the recording, but that might not be for awhile. Love, Marion |

24 Mar 04 - 05:25 PM (#1145202) Subject: RE: Chords Req: Fielding's - When we gather once more From: Marion Hello. Here is what I came up with for the chord progression. Each chord symbol represents a three-beat bar. verse: C C F C Am ? G G F C G Am Dm Dm G G C C F C Am ? G G F C G Am Dm G C G7 chorus: C C F C Am ? G G F C G Am (Am) F G Am Am Dm G C C The ? stands for a chord neither Allan C. nor I could positively identify. Our best guess is that it's an Am with some kind of alteration - if I had to play something I'd stay on the Am. The (Am) is an optional take-a-breath bar. Corrections welcome. Good luck, Marion |

She just got back from Spring break and is packng up a house and closing up a 19 years classroom, so not much time to sit down and do such things. Thanks, again, kat |

24 Mar 04 - 09:11 PM (#1145387) Subject: RE: Chords Req: Fielding's - When we gather once more From: Marion Jeri, when I try singing it independently of the recording, a D does work well in that spot. But it clashed when I tried playing it that way with the recording. But even if it's not Rick's chord, if it gets the job done... Marion |
