17 Mar 04 - 03:19 AM (#1138903) Subject: RE: Dog Days Afternoon (UK) From: The Admiral We'd like to say 'thanks' to all those who turned up and made it work. The Morris were the drivers on this one until about three weeks before when we received an email to say they didn't like the pub(after all those years of dancing at Dog Days?!) and therefore were cancelling. We thought of cancelling then but we'd already told too many people so we had to go with it. And thanks to the magic of email and to the mighty Mudcat we had a great afternoon, good music, good beer, good company and a great atmosphere as witnessed by the photos. Love and Regards; Tony and Pearl |
