13 Mar 04 - 02:44 AM (#1135365) Subject: Laughing Chairs - Tour News From: Chris Amos The new duo, The Laughing Chairs, (Graham Pike {aka Luxford} and Myself) are doing a short tour of Essex (UK), starting next Sunday 21/03/04 at the Sail Loft Folk Club, Horndon on the Hill. (website http://www.sailloftfolkclub.com The following Friday 26/04/04 we are at, The Coopers Arms, in Aldham – which is sort of near Colchester, take the Eight Ash Green turn off on the A12. Both of these clubs are well worth a visit, they do a great job promoting local talent (other than us) and have a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, Chris ps The Chairs have a promotional CD if any club organisers would like one please pm me. Our material is mostly trad British and Scandinavian with some self penned numbers thrown in. |
