They were both members of The Goose and Grid Iron Band, so any Ceilidh dudes come on down and join in. We will have our two hour Sing a Round as ever 8.30-10.30pm. Then let Janet and Theo loose. Also I am thinking of doing a Bedfordshire Day of Song in the Autumn. It will be held in the function room at The Bull. It will be a bit like The Hertforshire Day of Song,only in Bedfordshire. Comments please and who is up for it? |

Went to George Norris's Sing a Round on Sunday, very nice, that bloke from Shave the Monkey was there. As far as other folk clubs go Cornwall is naff Sessions but thet tend to be tunes. Boscastle the Wellington Mons Trewarmett Lodge near Tintagel Weds an can go on till late if edwina is in the mood. All decent folk clubs stop in Devon cos there are no entrpren'ral folk club organisers in cornwall any more. Have a peaceful week away. |
