The movie, I think it was called "The Lake" but heck it coulda beeen called "The POnd" is about perfectly normal folks who get rounded up and throwed into "the vortex" which is like this big swirling thing out in the lake and then someone comes back lookin' like 'um but they ain't. They is like aliens from another world... I think this might explain Bush and his followers... Anyway, the ending was real scarey because the good guys escaped to another city and there was the same stuff going on over there... Looks like ol' Bobert gonna have some serious Bush nightmares tonight... Like I said.... gol dnaged! Bobert |

From: flattop Did you know that Mr. Smith Goes To Washington was suspected of being a communist flick back in them days? Hedda Harper even accused Humphry Bogart but, when he sobered up and called her, she forgave him and thought he was ok. One of the people working for her said that Hedda was a sucker for the personal call and that her politics weren't so deep. He said that he was glad that Stalin hadn't called her because she might say that Stalin was a good guy and not a commie. |
