25 Mar 04 - 11:23 PM (#1146378) Subject: Bring your instrument - Kansas City From: GUEST,Crazy Little Woman Tomorrow, Friday, March 26th, I am hosting a session at Guardian Angels Catholic church, 1310 Westport Road. I project tunes and chords on the wall, and we all play along. Sometimes there is more than one part, and sometimes there are words to sing. We will do a mixture of traditional, early and religious music, depending on who comes. Last week we had flute, violin, guitar, percussion and vocals, and we played from 7 to 9:30 pm. Playing starts at 7 pm. There is not time set for stopping. You can come to the fish fry first (from 5 pm to 7:30) and get out of cooking supper. The session will be one floor up from the fish fry, in the former school building. I'll put a sign on the door so you can find us. There's baked fish, too. |
