BACK INTO ARC
Penny Black Folk Duo fund raising for Arthritis cure

Local Folk duo "Penny Black" (Pete Skinner & John Bond) became involved with ARC (Arthritis Research Campaign) "Make Music Live" money raiser last year in conjunction with Gordon Giltrap's incentive, this resulted in collecting at local music sessions and a regular Tuesday lunch folk session at The Steamer Htl Fleetwood. The total collected was £1760.00 which will be presented to ARC representative Jenny Robson at The Steamer Htl, Fleetwood on Tuesday 6th April 2004 at 3pm after a new Lancashire folk music session from 11.30 am till 2.30pm.

It is intended to continue the successful Tuesday Lunchtime sessions at the Steamer throughout 2004, once again to raise money for ARC and everyone is welcome to come along and join in, and help raise some money for this very worthy cause.

Further information on ARC and Penny Black can be found at the following addresses:-

Maybe we'll see some Mudcatters at the new Tuesday Sessions over the summer - The events will be PAed and if anyone would like to sing a few songs they'll be more than welcome!

Weather in Fylde...

Overcast, dry, some wind, (that's usual before a gig)but the sun is trying to break through.

Have a nice day.
