Cloudstreet will be performing as part of a live webcast tomorrow night (Wednesday, 31 March) at 7:30 pm. It's part of a virtual folk club organised by Ultraversity, an online university. We'll be joined by Vicky Swan and Jonny Dyer of Serious Kitchen.

You'll need Quicktime to view the show. For linking details, go to
http://www.wetfootmusic.co.uk/smallpiper/webcast.html.

See you there.

Nope, I couldn't get in either. Shame and I tried over and over. Just got a message saying Quicktime needed more software which couldn't be found. Odd 'cos it works for everything else...

*sighs* from me too. Glad it went well.

Could I ask what opertating system and version of quicktime you guys that couldn't get in have?
I've just found out from the techy guys that;
The stream used an MP4 codec which is only supported by QT 6 or above.
Could this have been the problem?

Leadfingers, I reckon it's time to convert your earnings into Windows XP. Windows 3.11b has been superceded;-)

Vicki - I got it just fine. I'm running Quicktime 6.5 and Windows XP, and am on 1mb Broadband, so maybe that all helped.

We saw it OK, but then it was projected onto a wall just next to us (with a 10 second delay which was very weird)

Well, I think we really enjoyed it, so if there is the demand we certainly would love to give it another go? Give it a few months, change the techy's so that it starts on time and give better instructions to get it working from you end? Whadya reckon? Anyone up for it?

The clips worked great for me. It makes up a bit for missing the live broadcast. I see John you have not forgotten your roots (the inflatable kangaroo). Loved that song "Winds of Fortune", and Vicki sure can pipe up a storm on those smallpipes!

BTW John, I just realized why your shirt looked so familiar. Could it be the same one as on the cover of "Violet Sarah and Muckle John"??? - or do you have a supply of them :-)

Now I want to know, when are you coming back to Oz?

Jenny (needing another Cloudstreet fix)
