30 Mar 04 - 01:28 PM (#1150204) Subject: Lyr Req: Lyrics + singers of a song From: GUEST,Allan in the Isle of Man Does anyone know a folk song which is about a folk festival, going through all the instruments (Something about "Like a seagull in season he answers the call"), and which concludes with the line "The Irish are brainwashing us and we can't do it back". Heard it years ago, but I don't know who it's by, or what all the lyrics are. i seem to remember it was by a singer who often did skittish songs etc, (Did some recitations about Harold the Ventrillequist king of England, Scot of East Acton, and some others. Can any one help? |
