BS: How does 'Spirit' affect Matter

And I don't mean Mind, I mean the "Spiritual essence" which is supposed to survive biological death to be Tortured for all eternity in the fires of Hell, re-bourn as a squirrel, or go to be with God.
Empirical testable evidence please.

Here's one article... Is there lightness after death?

You're about to get 27 posts telling you that "Empirical testable evidence" is not applicable to what you are asking.

Spirit is the source of matter. It pre-existed what we think of as matter, and it surrounds and informs matter. It is the energy of which matter is composed. If you look at matter under high enough magnification you will see that there is in fact nothing solid there at all, just little whirling, vibrating bundles of energy. That energy is spirit, and it's higly organized and coherent energy.

To imagine that it survives biological death to be "Tortured for all eternity in the fires of Hell" is a hideous and primitive notion invented by religious people who wanted to terrify their congregations into obedience. It could be reborn as a squirrel, or as a rock, or as a cloud, or as whatever, because energy does not disappear, it moves into new forms, expressions, and manifestations. It doesn't have to go anywhere to be with God.

You are yourself the empirical evidence of what you seek, but you don't see it.

Bill, you need to answer a question I asked on another thread...

I dunno about 21 grams at the moment of death, but the rebuttal offeedby the Guardian, that all bodies ultimately decompose, is ridiculously and irrlelevant, logically.

PP, you pose an interesting question. Why do you ask?

What ever gets done or created
are in the cracks of my life
the little spaces in between
the waves of epiphany and anguish.
Someplace where a root
can take hold or seedling sprout.

Conceiving a child
finding a treasure
thinking the master piece
being lucky beyond
my measure.
These things are from a space
so small as to be
another dimension.

That is where I live.
Against the grain
of spacetime and in between
everything else I am told
is important.

The energy vectors that underlie our existence are effected by us and visa versa. While progeny is the only way we can pass on a form of our consciusness, people will forever try to hold the notion of thier own consciousness never disolving into chaos, which is the biggest fairy tale of them all.

Well, there's this, too: your body is matter, and as the link in the GUardian points out, decomposes when entropy takes over. However, while you have and operate it there are a lot of choices about what it will do for you on any given day, where it will plant its feet, what noises will come out of it at either end, what it will grip or swing or hit or lift or stroke or pat.

All of these decisions essentially come primarily from you.

But on a much larger and much longer scale, the answer is "organizes it".

Dunno what to tell you about empirical testable proof, PP.

The fact that I have not sought or acquired any progeny in this life is clear proof, Donuel, that your proposition does not worry me in the least. The fact that I can also recall links to a number of previous physical lives on this planet is clear proof to me that my consciousness does go on. The idea that "life is hard and then you die" is the biggest fairly tale of them all...your body dies, you don't.
