I am seeking the words to a James Taylor song from the Tom Rush album Circle Game. The song title is "Something in the Way She Moves"

The second blicky is the right one.

I've often wondered whether George Harrison "borrowed" from James Taylor for his song. The album on which the James Taylor song appeared (I think that there was an earlier recording of it by Tom Rush) was on the Apple label, so Harrison must have heard it, and I'm pretty sure that the Taylor album preceded Harrison's recording.

I feel fine all the time she's around me now
She's around me now almost all the time
And if I'm well you can tell she's been with me now
She's been with me now quite a long, long time
And I feel fine

One of my favorite songs.

Cheers,
Michael

A truly lovely song, easily one of the best James penned IMHO.

Matthews Southern Comfort (one of Iain Matthews' early post-Fairport ventures) also did a great version of the song on their finest album "Second Spring" (currently available on CD on BGO Records).

MoorleyMan -- the Matthews' Southern Comfort version is actually the one I heard first. I'm happy to hear that "Second Spring" is available again. Do you know whether their first one has been reissued as well?

Cheers,
Michael

Wow -- I just checked BGO's website, and it looks like the CD has not only the 2nd but also the 1st album on it! I'm ordering...

Thanks a million, MM!
