Other than thinking Simon was nicer than the guys I ran into in the music industry, thought it was harmless. Lately I've noticed a series of articles complaining that the author thought that voters were not voting based on how well performers sang, but on how much they like certain individuals. It had turned into a popularity contest. Have we reached the stage where the pop music industry has forgotten that it's a always been a popularity contest and hasn't been about the music for years? It's only about the money. |
