In this thread Top 100 hits of 1950s they said that it was #34 for the year 1958, and sung by Little Anthony.

Assuming it is the same one.

And....

TEARS ON MY PILLOWSung by Little Anthony and the Imperials

You don't remember me, but I remember you
't was not so long ago, you broke my heart in two
Tears on my pillow, pain in my heart, caused by you, you

If we could start anew, I wouldn't hesitate
I'd gladly take you back, and tempt the hand of fate
Tears on my pillow, pain in my heart, caused by you,

Love is not a gadget, love is not a toy
When you find the one you love, she'll fill your heart with joy

If we could start anew, I wouldn't hesitate
I'd gladly take you back, and tempt the hands of fate
Tears on my pillow, pain in my heart, caused by you, you
Oh wo wo wo you you
FADE: wo oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is an old song, but may be the one you're after. Let's see if I can remember it

Tears on my pillow each morning
Tears that I cried over you
When I should be sleeping
I just lay there weeping
wondring if you're weeping too

I'm trying so hard to forget you
but that's not so easy to do
with tears on my pillow each morning
tears that I shed over you.

That's all I remember. If you'd like the guitar chords, let me know, and I'll figure them out for you.

Found this one at Tears On My Pillow

Tears On My Pillow
By REG LINDSAY
Album: AUSTRALIA'S KING OF THE ROAD

We were so happy when love lingered on
Back in our sweet used to be
Now it's all over and you are gone
Leaving a sad memory

Tears on my pillow each morning
I cry when I dream about you
When I should be sleeping
I just lay their weeping
Wond'ring if you're weeping too

I'm trying so hard to forget you
But that's not so easy to do
With tears on pillow each morning
Tears that I shed over you

Tears on my pillow each morning
I cry when I dream about you
When I should be sleeping
I just lay there weeping
Wond'ring if you're weeping too

I'm trying so hard to forget you
But that's not so easy to do
With tears on my pillow each morning
Tears that I shed over you

We were so happy when love lingered on,
Back in our sweet used-to-be;
But now it's all over and you are gone,
Leaving a sad memory.

And there's tears on my pillow each morning.
I cry when I dream about you.
When I should be sleeping, I just lay there weeping,
Wond'ring if you're weeping too.

I'm trying so hard to forget you,
But that's not so easy to do,
With these tears on my pillow each morning,
Tears that I've shed over you.

[As sung by Jimmy Dean on "Everybody's Favorite" (Columbia CS 8827) 1963. Also Also recorded by Gene Autry, Jimmie Davis, Tompall Glaser, Kate Smith, and Bob Wills.]
