This cruise leaves in January of 2005 from Port Canaveral and is going to Naussau, and St. Thomas among other spots. It is on a Carnival Ship and although some of them are somewhat shopworn, the food is excellent, the ride is peaceful, and we jammed every night in the Library until we got tired. There were guitars, fiddles, banjos, a bass fiddle, and of course lots of autoharps. The musicianship is superb and the workshops and side trips are fun! In Cozumel last February I rented a scooter and went all over the island visiting beaches, The Playa del Sol, a music store, and even a pharmacy (for cheap retin A). For unadventerous ones like me, who like comforts on a vacation it is truly relaxing. I camp all the rest of the year and some people think that is work! I would really enjoy it if mudcatters would come along this year! |
