A friend told me yesterday that I must have no white blood cells left. (I'm on my second round of antibiotics). Which inspired me to write this masterpiece of a song. You're welcome to make up a tune or add verses or throw the whole thing up - I mean, out.

SONG TO THE SICK

Because you have no white blood cells
That's why I am leavin' you
Because you have no white blood cells
That's why I won't be true
When you cough in my face
It's a sick'ning disgrace
And your dog is ugly too
Because you have no white blood cells
That's why I'm leavin' you

Well your natural defenses
have just thrown down all their fences
and your systems that should
be on "auto"
...ain't.
And though it may be drastic
have you considered the 'biotic
being anti
- may have made you sick?

Because you have no white blood cells
That's why I'm leavin' you
Leucocyte-less is your name it's true
Because you have no white blood cells
That's why I'm leavin' you
I should never have believed your blood was blue!

Thanks MMario for my new word of the day:

Leucocyte
Pronunciation:    'looku`sIt
Definition:   [n] blood cells that engulf and digest bacteria and fungi; an important part of the body's defense system

Okay, I guess it was a pretty sick song. I've written much better ones. Trust me.

And its well know sequel:

Your ears turn in, and your lips turn blue.
Rigormortis comes over you.
You lips turn in and your teeth fall out.
You brains trickle slowly out you snout.

How many days before we can post the obit? Give us a little lead-time and they are generally a better by a bit.

Sincerly,
Gargoyle

Best place to bury the corpse is under the Cherry tree then wait for the next years crop....redder than ever.

Happy pie making,
