14 May 04 - 07:17 PM (#1185875) Subject: RE: Chris Flegg Friday St Albans From: breezy nice to see so many new faces mostly Chris's neighbours I think. Great support from Keith Snodon then Tom and Nigel I was good too, as always. But what about our new resident then? Percy the pigeon lost on his way from newport gwent to Rochester, perched all evening after stuffing his beak with lentils, so he got to hear 'The King Of Rome' to help remind him of his destiny. Thanks Chris for a really entertaining evening and making us crack up. hope you had a tasty supper!! Now for Sunday at the legion and next Friday when its Cockersdale oh and btw the Duke noe has a non-smoking bar, see you there on Thursday for something |
