In this country (the US) the word Liberal has been stolen from its roots and turned to mean 'bleeding-heart pinko airhead', but this usage is only popular with neoconservatives who tend to be radical fascists. From this better informed perspective the answer to this somewhat fatuous query is "No". |

Roughly the political position that we would be likely to call "Liberal" too. In fact, I think that quite a good chunk of our Conservative Party would be seen as "far left liberals", on the other side of the Atlantic. |
