It goes something like

"we'd always be together, thats what she used to say"
or
"one of her favorite things she used to say"

I don't know what the hell song it is!

Its a rock song, by the way.

The phrase is too cliched and the musical style is not our expertise. Here's what I suggest: put "we'd always be together," into Google and look through the hits that come up.

Phil,

Can you give us some more info on when the song came out, male/female singer, music style, where you heard it.

Also, Amos suggested using Google, but remember to type the phrase in with the double quotes so that it searches for those words - in that order. Otherwise it will just search for any websites with all of those words not necessarily together in that order, ie as a phrase.

Well, I tried.

Nothing is close to an exact match, but potential results include Save Ferris, Marc Antony, Necromantix, Jonny Lang and a host of others.

I think you are either hunting for a song from someone local enough not to have their lyrics transcribed on the Web, or the lyrics you remember may be off enough for them to not be of use when searching.

Good luck though.
