They did apologise in advance, there was a function nearby to which most of the regulars had gone! The following day, we had a (5 to 7 pm) gig at a pub in Dowlais, just round the corner, and it was quite full. Not only that, we did some folk (just 10 minutes) as an extra in the interval, and got a request to play a full set of folk later in the year. She usually has 30 to 60 or more at the club gigs, but these are all private clubs, so no point in advertising them. They come for the Bingo, anyway. |
