21 May 04 - 11:49 PM (#1191280) Subject: Lyr Req: C.I.T. song From: Pogo Years ago when I was a kid I stayed over at a family friend's house (her mom and my mom were friends and the daughter and I were close friends also) I went to a synagogue for the first time (they were Jewish) In between sessions a group of us kids sat outside on the steps and talked and I remember another kid singing this odd song. We are the C.I.T. so piteous [not sure of this part], the food is hideous We're gonna sit and strum and fool around, [rhyming word here I've always remembered it as a nonsense word 'nuggy bound' whatever that means] North Star, C.I.T. Take it mind I was like nine or something at the time so I can't be sure of anything in this song but that's how I remember it Anyone know about this little song and what it means? Thanks for filling in the gaps :) |

A search on Google confirmed my suspision that North Star is a boys camp in Wisconsion. I remember the CIT's at Girl Scout Camps singing this as well/ |
