03 Jul 04 - 02:34 AM (#1218792) Subject: RE: LAUREN SHEEHAN/TRADITIONS From: Joe Offer I picked up Lauren's CD, Some Old Lonesome Day, this afternoon. What a wonderful recording! I especially liked a couple of songs, "Won't You Come and Sing for Me?" and "The Monkey and the Engineer" (I think the Grateful Dead recorded it, too). Lauren has a powerful voice and an intelligent style. Lauren's Website is http://www.laurensheehanmusic.com/. You'll find an in-depth review of her CD here. -Joe Offer- |
