25 May 04 - 09:16 PM (#1193999) Subject: RE: Tune Req: Robert Burns Songs From: Joe_F This book has 'em all: http://www.dropbears.com/amazon/asinsearch_0192811142.html Complete texts; tunes of all the songs. Glossary; index of first lines. To think that I *happened* on this in a bookstore! No annotation whatever, tho. When Burns undertakes to insult someone (often substituting dashes or stars for most of his name), we are not told anything about him beyond what we can glean from the text. |
