Bygone Days, Jake Walton- re-release?

I have emailed Jake Walton to plead for him to re-release "Bygone Days." It's been out of print for a while now, does anyone else remember this album? If you do, let him know you want him to release it again, by posting on this thread. I know he'll check it out! Thanks!

I've only heard about it and have tried to find a copy...I guess being out of print explains why I never found it! Would be nice if Bygone Days were in print again....How about dipping into the catalogue Jake...?

Hi Jake, if youre there,

Used to have a tape of 'Byegone Days' and 'The Glooming Grey' but have lost them, I'd love to be able to buy a copy now!

Okay Jake,
Obviously Bygone Days has been out of the picture for so long, that people don't even know what they're missing. This is even more reason to bring it back. The excitement it would cause would be just like releasing it for the first time.

Here is a hint for all of you Celtic lovers: mellow voice with just the right lilt, soothing instrumentation of Appalacian dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, guitar and hurdy gurdy, and haunting songs and lyrics. Roger Nicholson joins Jake in making a fantastic album. Let them know we want it back!

I was looking through here whilst on the telephone to Jake Walton and read these comments to him. Now he KNOWS you want the album back but he says it isn't his record company and therefore not up to him to re-release. He says if you google it and ebay it there are a couple of his older albums available in vinyl in Germany. He is also working on an anthology at the moment and some of his back catalogue is slowly making it onto download. He is performing a few gigs with Anglo Celtic band TINKERSCUSS (www.myspace.com/tinkerscuss) ... google THEM and perhaps you will get to see him live this year !

I am a fan of Jake Walton and was curious if anyone knows if he has ever performed at folk venues in U.S.A? The only album I have (available on CD Baby) of Jake Walton, is the one with Jez Lowe called, "Two A Roue." By the way, it's a great album! I play it often.
I have been unable to find any other albums of Jake's available in the States. Don't know if he has any distribution here or not.
Perhaps Jake or his manager can contact CD Baby and make more of Jake's albums available through that company.
