You would expect this thread not to get any postings whatever, if people are acting from self-interest. Because anybody who was interested in what was on offer(if they had worked things out correctly) would reply by PM, and not post to the thread. That would mean there was less chance of anyone else reading the thread, and therefore less people competing for the guitars. JOhn from Hull is helpfully refreshing, so we may deduce (a) he owns the guitars (b) a friend of his owns the guitars or (c) he supports anything to do with Hull. it is suhhestive that nobody interested in the guitars has posted, which fits in with my theory. |
