Unlike the English demorcratic party that doesn't want that, or maybe they do I don't know, but as Tracey Dragonsfriend say they sound a wee bit like the BNP. Because they are after the same thing. |

The laborious attempts to invent an "Irish folk music", now being mirrored by attempts to figure out what "English folk music" is meant to sound like, is a case in point. They talk differently in Cork and Antrim, and in Cumberland and Kent. Long live regionalism. Though that might be a bit too broad: villagism, perhaps? Personally, I havent the slightest idea if I am English or not, and I have no particular desire to define myself in those terms. |

"Love", for example, is probably one of the most abused ideals in the English language. "Patriotism" is another.
