BS: North Dakota and other conspiracies

From: Pogo

We never landed on the moon. It was all a hoax.

*shifty eyes* Also...you know North Dakota? It's not a real state, folks. Oh sure...there's people who have CLAIMED to visited it/lived in it/purchased dried moose doo keychains in the general vicinity of it. Don't trust these people. They're all Canadians PAID GENEROUSLY to perpetuate the myth that is...North Dakota.

I mean think about it. Anything it's really famous for? Anything that was distinctively, historically and unashamedly Amurrican that happened in it?

Exactly...

It's territory owned by Alaska for the sole purpose of secretly training a highly skilled and ruthless army of...penguins. Alaska is in cahoots with Canada you see...to overrun the United States Government and put a penguin in the Oval Office as a puppet leader THEY will control. Why do you think Alaska is the 50th state? Stratagey my friends...stratagey...The first shall be last and the last shall be first...*nods knowingly*

I can't talk much longer...there's a moose outside my window who's been staring at me for ten whole minutes. I think he's wired.

Just remember...North Dakota...

Yes you see the insidious brillance of it all?!?

Even the North Dakotaians themselves don't know they're Canadian!!!

Hell, half of the Canadians don't know their Canadian.

On the other hand - Sea World in Orlando by me has hundreds of penguins . . . Doing some warm weather training perhaps?

There may not be a North Dakota, but, yes, there is a Virginia.

Ho, ho, ho!

I still like the attempt ND made to change their name to just Dakota, believing it's the "North" part of their name that causes them to have something like 10% of the tourists as that tropical paradise . . . wait for it . . . South Dakota.

No one in ND has seemed to notice the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore and the Sturgis Bike Fest.

Exactly...because they are all fake too!!! It's all sound-stages and mind-altering drugs and minatures...

Besides which...everyone knows the real Mt. Rushmore's is in Oregon. The other one is it's double. What do you think the penguins are going to destroy first eh?

(I'm having so much fun with this. Who knew developing conspiracy theories could be so entertaining? )

You are so right. I just realized that my parents only told me that I was born in North Dakota. I don't remember any such thing. This conspiracy is vast- well, maybe I won't go that far, but it is at least half.

C'mon, Blackcatter! You don't really expect anyone to believe that The Black Hills Run (aka Sturgis Bike Week) in any way confirms the existence of North Dakota, do you? A buncha drug and alcohol-crazed miscreants on Harley Davidsons getting together to consume more drugs and alcohol while prompting each other's girlfriends to "show us your tits" is not prima facie evidence of the existence of anything in the real world. For all we know, Sturgis is just a mass hallucination. The argument is almost as bogus as saying that the Burning Man festival somehow confirms the existence of Nevada when we all know Nevada is just the post-hypnotic suggestion of a two-bit sideshow hypnotist.

Umm - Sturgis is in South Dakota right? I haven't been there - little need to go that far for Harley stuff when I live an hour from Daytona.

Subject: RE: BS: North Dakota and other conspiracies
From: Blackcatter

Yeah - it's in South Dakota - along with Rushmore & the Black Hills - that was my point - ND thinks that it's name is why they don't have tourists when it's clear that SD has things that tourists WANT to see.

Then that means South Dakota is a hallucination as well?

And Rapaire is just a sort of backlash or mental circuit stirred up by trying to believe in a Dakota? Hmmmm. I am feeling relieved! It has the firm clear ring of Truth!! I declare!!

Alaskan penguins? Now, there's a well-kept secret.

From: Ebbie

Hrothgar, I believe it's all part of the US trade deficit. Penguins are being assidiously imported from the south; the hope is that there will eventually be a self-sustaining population. Not a single polar bear, OTOH, has been sent south, which had been part of the original trade plan. The planners had miscalculated in believing that polar bears come in flocks. As usual Alaska is bearing the brunt of the impact of the mistake.

Its true, its true...ND is actually a ground owned and operated by Canadians. Remember when the UK would send their criminals to Australia? Well...Canada sends all those who cant play hockey or handle their liquor to North Dakota!.........Slainte!

It is rather ironic that the part of the U.S. that Canada would secretly control is North Dakota. Next you'll be telling me that Mexico controls New Mexico. And the Bahamas: The Dry Tortugas.

By the way, I called Sea World, Orlando - they have approximately 300 penguins. At least that's the number they claim.

Anyone know how penguins fair against huge rat-like cartoon characters?

I'm sorry to hear tht you've been involuntarily converted into a Canadian.   Sorry, you'll just have to brace yourself for those terrible Canadian winters. That's where the weathercasters tell us we get all those Canadian Cold Fronts and Canadian Arctic Air Masses.

Hey, if boozing, drugs and hollering "Show us your tits!" isn't enough to prove existence then I guess Louisiana is a halucination as well. That just about describes Mardi Gras with the exception of getting some beads.

Oh and Santa, Virginia isn't a state, it's a commonwealth. Starnge that a commonwealth should be under the control of a bunch of money grubbing tightwad conservatives.
