09 Jun 04 - 12:08 AM (#1203251) Subject: The Digital Tradition dnld file error From: The Fooles Troupe Twice I have downloaded The Digital Tradition Windows version file. Each time it refuses to install (Win98SE) - error message as follows "Installer corrupted or incomplete This could be a result of a failed download or corruption from a virus If desperate try the /NCRC command line switch (not recommended)" So I have bypassed the CRC check on install with the result that everything seems to get there, except the file "The Digital Tradition.exe" gives an internal error which says that it is corrupt and will not run - Windows also says that the file is not in Windows format. A look at the properties reveals nothing helpful - it seems to think it is just an executable file, but no internal executable file info extra screen is there. Help? Robin |
