From: Shanghaiceltic I have been suffering from an injury to me left elbow tendons and to my neck which has also caused numbness in my right thumb. The two injuries have been aggravated by tension in the arms either when I am playing bodhran (left arm) or learning and practising whistles. Found this web site and I thought I'd share it with you. poor limbs |

From: John Routledge I have recently tried "theraputic putty" which comes in 3 or 4 strengths and is wonderful for freeing up creaky fingers which are starting to be affected by old age. You simply squeeze a pliable ball of theraputic putty into different shapes and then squeeze it back!! Almost addictive- easy and very effective. Cost in UK £4.75 but as putty is USA made hopefully it is cheaper over the pond. PS it has definitely smoothed up my pipe playing :0) |
