The Musicians channel has just started on Sky Digital TV, unfotunately its only on Digital Satelite TV , so them with Freeview can't see it.

I'ts a good channel, and shows music lessons, and unsigned bands, singers etc, its on from dinnertime till midnight every day, and is channel number 475.

A few people been asking how to get on the channel, you need to contact them direct, do this via their website [www.mchannel.tv]

The channel is completely free to view, and they have just extended their broadcast hours, it's now on till 3AM every day, mainly music lessons in the daytime, and unsigned bands/solo singers on a night.

Unfortunately it will not be appearing on Freeview as the channel space on Freeview is very limited.
It is no longer neccesary to subsribe to Sky to get a box and dish, they are now offering a Freeview type service, but you need to buy the Sky box, I think it's about £100, see website for proper details, [www.sky.com].

There are no adverts on the channel, so I assume it's sponsored by the instrument companies that offer prizes for competitions, [win a guitar etc], or subsidised by other channels.

If channel space on Freeview is so limited, why do we get about 75 channels selling high priced junk that nobody wants?
