Art's PHOTOS ALL CAPTIONED NOW

From: GUEST,Art Thieme

Good folks,

I've finished all the captions on my 600 plus folk scene photos that are on Bruce Kallick's web site at:

http://rudegnu.com/art_thieme.html

There are also several new photos from a stop I made in Okemah, Oklahoma in April of 1986---on my way to Oklahoma City. There will be others added from time to time---so keep on coming back.

I do hope that some of these are of people you know and/or enjoy listening to. Making them available is my way of trying to say thanks to so many of you whose input here at Mudcat and on the folk scene has meant so very much to me during my road years. Feel free to link to them, print them, save them, or send them to others who might like to see some of them---whatever.

Peace,

Art Thieme

Absolutely wonderful, Art. What an accomplishment and legacy; there for all to share and enjoy and given so willingly. You are so very special. Thanks, darlin',

Dan Keding will be at (MY!) storytelling concert this Saturday in Orlando, courtesy of August House Publishing.

Peabody Hotel, 8:00 - 10:00.

Stop by and catch a great evening and say hello if you are in the Orlando area.

PM me for my cell phone #, which is the only way you will get me after noon today.

Great stuff, Art!! Man, it evokes memories. Not of the same places and people but of parallel marches through the same clumps of time, singing many of the same tunes, I am sure...
