Tune Req: Cuckoo Song

I am looking for a tune called "Cuckoo Song".

I have it recorded by Mike Oldfield on his "the complete Mike Oldfield" double CD from 1985 - there it says "traditional".

I did not find the tune on the Digitrad or in the forum, also no results on the ABC tune finder (there are some titles containing the word "Cuckoo" - but none of them is the one I am looking for).
The tune sounds (in parts) like a (big surprise!) cuckoo calling...

Unfortunately I am very very untalented in writing down music from listening to it - so I'd be very glad if someone could provide it (ABC will do)

Thanks in advance.

Info from Amarok FAQ:

Cuckoo Song
Composer: "Traditional"; Michael Praetorius
Additional Information: Also known as 'Parsons Farewell'. First appeared in Michael Praetorius' collection 'Dances from Terpsichore' (1612) and was originally called 'La bourree'.

Several "Cuckoo Song" lyrics. Need a line or two.

Emmet's "Cuckoo Song" from "Fritz Among the Gypsies," 1879, at "Levy Sheet Music.
Cuckoo Song
Other copies but this one claims to be the original.

Thanks so far!

masato, I found "Parson's Farewell" on ABC tunefinder, it is similar but not quite the tune...

Q, your link does not work. I do not know whether the "song" has any lyrics, the Mike Oldfield version is instrumental...

It's certainly the Praetorius tune (the "b" part is a dead giveaway), though evidently Mike Oldfield recorded something that sounded a little different from the notation presently available to Andy. I haven't heard Oldfield's arrangement in years, so can't be more specific.

Yes, Malcolm, the b part is very similar, but the rest doesn't fit at all...
