A quick look at the manual implies that it will do what you want but it specifically says that batch jobs should be run with sox (the swiss army knife of audio processors). |

I ran 'em through Mp3Gain, and then converted 'em back to WAvs... Clunky, but it got the job done... If anyone finds a program like MP3Gain, but fer wavs, lemme know :-) |

29 Jun 04 - 03:19 PM (#1216468) Subject: RE: Tech: *.Wav Normalization From: Clinton Hammond Sorry... but it appears that Audacity only does this one track at a time... And with 650 +wav files, that's not an option.... And well, glancing over the FAQ, and manuals for Audacity... it looks like you get what you pay for... So thanks but no... |

29 Jun 04 - 05:06 PM (#1216529) Subject: RE: Tech: *.Wav Normalization From: treewind In that case you do want normalize, and it seems there's a Windows port: Normalize home page Or just download http://www1.cs.columbia.edu/~cvaill/normalize/normalize-0.7.6-cygwin.zip (I haven't tried this, but I'm familiar with the Linux version) If it's like the Linux utility (most likely) you just open a MSDOS command line in the directory where all the files are - like I said earlier: C:\PATH\TO\MY\WAV\FILES\> normalize *.WAVThere won't be a faster way!
