I shall be there this week....and will be collecting sponsor money for the five peaks trip. Hope that doesn't keep anyone away.....so bring your wallets and purses folks. If you didn't manage to sponsor the trip you can still make a donation to the causes...ie St Johns Ambulance and "The Hand of Friendship" charity.
Will be performing too.
Be Blessed.

Georgiansilver - May I ask you how the Five Peaks trip went? How many miles did you do - climbing and walking? What was your accommodation like - a tent or bed n breakfast place, or what? Did you feel exhausted at the end?

Hi Folkfan. The whole idea of the Five peaks challenge is to complete it in a very short time so there was no sleep involved other than snatched sleep in the minibus as we were either driving or climbingfor 50+ hours to cover the whole of the trip. Be Blessed.

I'll be there. Sooz has asked me to make sure that, if she's still gibbering on the M62, we make an early start so that we can fit a respectable number of performers in for several 'rounds'. Let's aim to have a decent number of bums on seats and the first song hitting the air by 8.30? Last one there's a sissy.

We will be there tonight, hopefully early, closely followed by folkfan and Georgiansilver. GS is in need of a double dose of Folk music tonight after his trip (The five peak challenge) last weekend.

Lucy and Paul said that they are hoping to be there.

I think you are going to have quite a few tonight. Good job you are doing an early start. :-)

A great night, once again by all the artists, and club members who sang along with the artists. I enjoyed Lucy and Paul's music and singing. A great instrumental break when there is no singing during a continued verse of music adds to the pleasure of the music. Thanks again to Sooz and Mr Sooz for running this great folk club, and to Drover's Call for letting us their room.

Glad to see the club is doing well. Remind me, is it weekly or fortnightly? I'll try and get over there soon. I'll also try and persuade the other Buffalo Bro to join me.
