Info needed on Northants/Beds folk clubs

Hi fellow mudcatters,
I'm looking for folk clubs in the (UK) Northants and Bedfordshire area (ideally within 15 miles of Rushden) that have singarounds or folk jam sessions.
I've been going to the old railway station in Rushden but want to find other sessions to go to as well.
Does anyone know of any?
Thanks
Sue :-)

I forgot to mention Sutton folk club monthly on Saturdays and a session at the John of Gaunt monthly on Fridays.

The Fridays sesison is definitely a singaround type pub session - tunes, songs, stories, clog dancing, the lot...

If there's a session this month, better phone to find out - I maintain that website but have to make an effort to get information out of them...

Thanks for the info, Ross and breezy.

I'll keep these in mind.
(I heard Cloudstreet and chatted to John Thompson at the Bromyard festival last year - they are well worth hearing)

Does anyone know of any sessions closer to the A45 in Northants?

Thanks

Sue

I'll shortly be leaving the Folky haven of Hull for Wellingborough. Please tell me where I can find good players' sessions nearby. If there are no advances on the above, I may wither up and perish!

Thanks,

Richard.

Both Shire Folk - millses@btopenworld.com - & Unicorn - unicorn.mag@btconnect.com - magazines give info re: sessions in the area.
