Does anyone have the lyrics for this Breton song? I've tried searching on the web but with no joy (though it seems to mean something in Somali as well!)

Only a cd or two, and mentioned with regard to the Breton Folk Festival. One of the cds:
Barzaz

Weirdly, I have the Barzaz CD and the booklet has lyrics for every song except that one. Maybe they do it as an instrumental.

Is Olole in fact a Breton word? It does not look like one on the surface, and it's not in my Breton dictionary. Given its placement in the song it seems it could be a Proper name or even a nonsense word.

The song in fact has few words as YF Kemener sings it. Just a few couplets and a lot of la-la-la. But my Breton's not good enough to make it out.

The word perhaps is imitative of bird calls. A remark about that at one cd site.

Just a brief explanation of my odd posting above. I wrote the first sentence, listened to the song, and then wrote the rest. Thus I can confirm that Barzaz does NOT perform it as an instrumental, but as a song sung by their vocalist, Yann Fanch Kemener. If you want to hear the song sung, it's a very good CD.

YFK also has a songbook out, which I do not own. It's possible the song in question is in the book.
