13 Jul 04 - 05:31 AM (#1224427) Subject: Kitchen Piper to NZ & OZ From: kitchen piper Hi! It looks like myself and Jonny (Happy Guitar) will be in NZ with some time on our hands soon. We really, really would love to play at as many clubs as possible. Floorspots, sessions, anything. So we're looking for anything in Auckland and the surrounding area, but we'll travel. I'd like an excuse to fly over to Oz too (maybe Cairns where it'll not be quite so wintery?) but we're open to offers. (We're great friends with Cloudstreet, if that'll help!) If you'd like to see a bit about us and hear a few extracts our web address is: smallpiper.co.uk Hope to see you soon on the other side of the world! :-)) Vicki |
13 Jul 04 - 05:49 AM (#1224437) Subject: RE: Kitchen Piper to NZ & OZ From: Hrothgar Might be cheaper flying to Brisbane or the Gold Coast from NZ, and the weather here is not too bad at this time of year. A few sessions around - let me know when you will be around. You can bring Nicole and John, too. |

21 Jul 04 - 12:36 AM (#1230438) Subject: RE: Kitchen Piper to NZ & OZ From: kitchen piper Hi! It went well, an open mic. We got big cheers and applause, but that was probably novelty factor! I'm not sure how far south we'll get, probably stick to the North Island, but if someone can tempt us with a club / session I'm sure we won't take much persuasion. :-)) Vicki |
21 Jul 04 - 03:58 PM (#1230845) Subject: RE: Kitchen Piper to NZ & OZ From: Little Robyn If you're in Hawke's Bay on a Wednesday, come to the Celtic Jam at the Cat & Fiddle in Karamu Road. It was a very quiet session last night and everyone left around 10:30, even with Ian Gorman there. (Perhaps it was just because Ian was there, and singing, and ****** as a newt!) I'm sure if you came, the joint would be rocking until late! Robyn |
