The outdoor stages, during the day and into the evening, are all free. You can buy a pass to get into various late night concerts around town. I'm especially looking forward to hearing Jenny Whiteley, Dave Gunning, and Lenny Gallant. And if you're so inclined, there will be a Celtic session on the workshop stage on Sunday afternoon, and you can expect to find Mudcatter Willie-O and me there. I think he also may be playing the beer tent at some point. Please post here or PM if you're planning to attend, if you'd like to meet up. I can also provide accomodation within walking distance. I am playing on the beer patio at 5 p.m. Friday (swing tunes), and 2 or 3 on Saturday as part of the Linda Grenier band. The Celtic session is at 1 on Sunday. (All players welcome...anyone?) Bill Perth is one hour's drive west of Ottawa on Highway 7. |
