Many thanks to those who contributed food, drink, utensils & of course their company to the sunday nite gazebo pot luck. Can anyone remember what we were laughing at so much down in the pub? It must have been good cos John Henry managed to hurt himself laughing. Mike & I finally arrived home today at about 3 this afternoon as the caravan blew a tyre on the M40 near Warwick. We made it to the service station but had to wait for business hours to have the tyre replaced. So we ended up after suitable negotiations with the site manager so they didn't clamp it) spending the night in the van in the car park. Oh well, it could have been worse. It didn't cause an accident, both we and the van were ok, I stopped before it damaged the wheel-rim & the services had hot, powerful showers, so I could rinse off the weekend's mud! |
