It was somthing like 'it put a hole in it, that did it...'? Can't get it out of my mind and can't find who wrote it etc. any clues? (it not Blackhalk's 'hole in my heart) Magic performance! |

THERE'S A HOLE IN IT She could have walked away she could have had her say she could have laughed at me still I would repair she could have danced all night with a stranger right in front of me but she kissed me like Salome She put a hole in it the centre of my heart she stood so close she could not miss she put a hole in it like a bullet, straight through it and that did it it put a hole in it Like a memory she is here to stay as I wander through every room if I had a chainsaw I'd cut this house in two put it on a longhaul truck and send your half to you you put a hole in it http://www.archiebrown.com/prisoner.html |

It makes sense since the band that wrote it seem to originate from the North East, at least some of its members do. I've traced it to the album - Prisoner of Fender. Many thanks. |
