Worked fine on my computer, and I hadn't seen it before, so thanks GUEST, curious. It was well done and quite clever. However, I wouldn't say that it makes this a music thread. It may be a song, but more to the point it is a political comment, so I think it will be quite comfortable down here.

If its the one I saw with Kerry and Edwards "In bed" and Kim Jong IL and Osama holding "Kerry" signs, I would say its in very poor taste.

Sounds like some people need upgrades!

They were cute. I liked Al Gore in the second one!

It loaded fine with DSL. The first one was a lot better, though. And 30 seconds longer.

Very, very funny. I think these are the best political song parodies I've seen, in that they make very good fun of both the Democrats and the Republicans and the various cheesy tactics they resort to in seeking The Prize in Washington. They are 2 teams in the same Big League, and the public pays to watch the game.

Arlo Guthrie was on Folk Roots/Folk Branches with Mike Regenstreif a few weeks ago and said that the JibJab "This Land Is Your Land" parody was the best commentary on the election that he'd heard this year.

If you all are having problems loading it, it's because you all don't have a fast enough connection i have dsl and it only took me 20 seconds i agree jib jab is hilarious and very well said, i work at a hotel and see many companies showing it to their employees definitely a political statement not a song.

I say both "This Land" and "D.C. Land" are fair in their cracking fun at both Kerry and Bush. My comment is that if you think it is in poor taste to have Sadam Husaen, Kim Jong IL, and an Irainain Mula holding a sign supporting Kerry, but ok for Kerry to call Bush a "Dumb ASS" and and be portrayed as a war lover who wants to bring on WWIII, then you have no center. Extremests on both ends should be made fun of so we in the center can put them in their proper place.

I am a Bush supporter, but I can't say I agree with everything Bush does. I love the JibJab spots. They are funny and even have an element (although a little one)of truth or observances seen by the American people over this OVERLONG campaign. With the world in the state it is in we can use all the laughter we can get. If you want a smile and can agree that neither side is perfect, then go to JibJab and enjoy. I know they never fail to make my day better.
