I have recently received two cds and a booklet from this source.
Absolutely fantastic!
These are made from the very earliest recordings of the Northumbrian Newcastle tradition. The quality is wonderful and the shipping is fast and packing great. I highly recommend investing in these as it is our first snapshot of how the tradition was when recording was invented.
Another interesting aspect is Ray's amazing research into discography found in his booklet. Essential-very essential material for anyone interested in this tradition.

Of special interest is the nature of the performances which is in stark contrast to recent recordings on topic and other lables. Another great point is that the dialect is not interfered with and is as sung.

Here is the contact information:
You will have to ask ray about the booklet....

4 Tyneside/Northumbrian/ CDs I've produced.
£10 +£2. postage/packing. Each.
This one concentrates on very early remastered 78s, 80s & cylinders.

Once again, nice one, Conrad - have read the (excellent) discography but didn't know the CDs are available.
