One is called The Scent of the Roses and the other is The Prayer of the Badger? Can anyone help THANK YOU |

From a quick scan of some of those, it looks to me as though "Alice in Montana" may have the words for a lot of O'Hara's songs. If you join up as a member (it's free:-) you could send her a Personal Message from your own Personal Page and see if she might help out. O'Hara is so well-known, though, someone else may come in here and get them for you before that, anyway.:-) Good luck! kat |

From: GUEST Susan, as kat says, 'The Scent of the Roses' is Mary O'Hara's autobiography, I don't' know anything about 'Prayer of the Badger' but Ms. O'Hara took the name of her book from this poem by Thomas Moore. It is also on "40 Traditional Songs" (H&H Music, 2007), and is one of the bonus tracks on the CD version of "Live at Carnegie Hall" (Valentine Records, 1983?). "The Scent of the Roses" also contains THE PRAYER OF THE BADGER. Her album "Tranquility" (Warwick, 1979) contains a song called SHEPHERD'S SONG (BAILERO). This information is from a discography in PDF format which can be found at Mary O'Hara's web site. However, I don't think there are any lyrics at that web site. There are some sound files and videos, but not of the songs requested. |
