From: Skipjack K8 A while back, I chanced upon a traditional music site that had a neat option, and now I can't remember it's name or address. It allowed me to type in a succession of notes in letter form, and irrespective of the correct key in which any matching tune is recorded, it threw up all the possible options by name. It was clever in that it didn't require time or tempo, and because of that it threw up any conceivable match, but it was easy to scroll through and discount the obvious non-starters. It was also a useful way of gathering alternative names for tunes. Can anyone point me in the direction of any such sites? Thank you in anticipation |
