From: John J I'm visiting Harris around 25th August for about a week, my No2 son is doing some work for his Geography degree and I've been volunteered to drive him up from Manchester. My son #2 is up thereabouts that week as well although he is camping on the mainland and visiting Lewis for part of it. His girlfriend might take her bodhran. Thanks for the note on Callanish, I hadn't heard of it before. A search on Google brought up some splendind pictures, I'll certainly pay the place a visit. We're staying at Am Bothan bunkhouse for much of our stay, although one or two nights will involve a backpacking trip. Cheers, John |
