He been wearing silver nail varnish for ages now [see photos on the "farlington" thread,
how about we help him choose a new colour, red or pink or something?

post links, or samples etc.

Lime green. That's what I suggest.

Superglue works best but tends to stay on all the time. Best wishes.

No, no, no! With his colouring, lime green would just make him look like a big lemon.

Try something like Avon's Arabic Glow - a lovely sandy gold, which enhances the natural tones of your skin, dries quickly and doesn't chip.

Failing that, Humbrol Enamals do some perfectly lovely colours in those tiny pots.

Sorry, that should be enamels... typing with a cat on your arm isn't easy.

Ted, take no notice of these Ignorami. You and I both know that a true artiste has to suffer for his art. LOL!

Anyway, you should use your fingers to type. It's very CROOL to use a cat. :0)

Use "hot-dipped galvanized". They cost a bit more but never need painting 'cause they don't rust.

DAMN! Pdq beat me to it!

But, why use nails at all? There are lots of screws on the market that don't require painting and you won't smash your thumb.

Rosette screws would work.

Of course Liz you know that Humbrol is a Hull firm. Perhaps they'll mix up a new shade for him?

Rosette would screw at work?

My little one would suggest a different color for each nail topped with a flourescent glittery topcoat...and then if you have them, stickers to go on top!

What sort of finish do you think he would prefer? I can sort him out with "Five second" or "Rock hard".

Nail update: They are currently metallic gold in colour, thanks to my youngest daughter who donated said pot of varnish to me.
Yo carol, I do have an accordian, but I'm knacked if I can play it. VERY complicated machinery!

I'd paint 'em whatever color the rest of the wall is painted. Too dang much trouble to paint the nails a different color.
