27 Aug 04 - 06:39 AM (#1258018) Subject: Stitherum CD is here! From: Sooz Time for a bit of shameless self-promotion! Our CD "Threads" has arrived and we can't keep them all so I thought I'd better tell you about it. The whole intention was to produce a recording which would be as near as we could get to our live performance (sans mistakes!) So, there's no jiggery pokery or guest musicians/singers who are better than us - what you here is what you get. It has a mixture of our own songs and those of our favourite writers - something old, something new, mostly borrowed and occasionally blue. Anyone who is interested in getting one should send a pm. Mike and Sue (AKA "Stitherum" - a Lincolnshire dialect word meaning much the same as rigmarole) |

27 Aug 04 - 06:59 AM (#1258044) Subject: RE: Stitherum CD is here! From: Rasener I have a pre release and have to say that it is very good, and is a true representation of their live performances. Something very refreshing to hear an artist(s) as they sound :-) Are you bringing any along to Market Rasen Folk Club tonight when you do your support floorspot to Bob Fox? |
