G'day Cheery,

Was that in Uberwald ... or Ankh Morpork ...?

Regards,

Surely you mean glod, glod, glod? Have you asked Carrot?

Hope this helps. Cheers, Cheery! How's the skirt-wearing coming on?

Wyrd Sister, I think you should win some sort of prize. That page is great.

Apparently there's a version from Cheery's colleagues who moved to AM that goes:-

Guild, guild, guild, guild,
Guild, guild, guild, guild,
Guild, guild, guild, guild,
Guild, guild, guild, guild

It's very popular with the Patrician . . . but only as he reads it from the score.

Thank you so much for finding these lyrics, especially the link to the dwarf poetry from Wyrd Syster.

Carrot wasn't able to help, I tried him first.

I was born under uberwald, and you found the version my mother used to sing while she baked dwarf bread (Oh, you just can't find bread like mother used to make anymore...).

The chain link skirts are OK, but they do chafe the ankles somewhat.
