I have it sung by Dr John but cannot understand a word of it. Even my American friends gave up trying to decipher what the hell the Doc was singin' about. Also, who wrote it, and when, or is it Trad? |

The subject matter always seems to involve intoxication on illegal substances as a way to pass the time while incarcerated, and there's usually a verse fantasizing about converting the prison grounds to a marijuana farm. |
